N08825 tube inspection

2.4858 N08825 Tube Inspection

N08825 or 2.4858 is an austenitic nickel based alloy which can resist corrosion in very aggressive envirement. The high content of nickel, molybdenum and copper allow it to be corrosion resistant in reducing environment compared to standard stainless steels. It contains more than 40% Nickel and its dentsity is about 8.18kgs/dm3. Melting temperature is 1370 - 1400°C.

The ordered N08825 seamless tubes are produced according to SB163. They are used for shell and tube heat exchangers equipments. The order is with very urgent delivery time. Unfortunately the production time was about 30days delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic. After negotiation with customer, we delivered the tubes in two lots to save some time.
This order is required TUV inspection with En10204 .3.2 certificate. The inspections goes smoothly. All inspection results are compliant with production standards and purchase order. And the EN10204 3.2 certificate was issued.
