Description:
Alloy 625 is an austenitic nickel - base superalloy possessing excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion over a broad range of corrosive conditions. The alloy has high strength and toughness at temperatures ranging from cryogenic temperature to 1100°C. 625 also has exceptional fatigue resistance. Its fatigue strength is exceptional. This non - magnetic alloy derives its strength from the strengthening effect of Mo and Nb on its Ni - Cr matrix. In addition to good oxidation resistance, the alloy also resists to corrosive attack by many other media; it is virtually immune to chloride - ion stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is not magnetic.
